More than 350 years ago this house was the original farm where the family was living together with their chickens and goats. The animals have left and the cottage has been transferred into a very cozy and rustic holiday-rental with antique furniture, which offers accommodation for 5/6 persons. It is a real pleasure to be in the living-room with its beautiful exposed oak beams and stonewalls! Here you will also find a large wood burning stove, which can be lit for the cooler evenings, e.g. during early spring and late autumn. In the simple but very extensive kitchen you can prepare your delicious french gourmet meals and eat at the old oak table or in your garden under the lime tree.

If you wish to come with more people, no problem. Many families/ groups do combinations like for example camping with B&B, caravan with holiday-house or cabin with B&B. If you do not feel like cooking, then join your hosts for a so called "table d'hôte", freshly prepared using vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden. Vegetarian, a hearty cyclist/hikers meal it can all be taken in account by us. If wished you can also enjoy our daily served sumptuous breakfast. The whole estate is available for you to enjoy with among others pool, terrace, playing field with chalet, a volleyball-field, a goal, a piste de petanque, a trampoline, seats in the sun or shade, picnic tables, a sandpit, swings and a permanent barbecue. In the morning you can walk to the bakery (50 meters) to get oven fresh baguettes, banets or croissants. Around the corner you'll also find a good butcher/ traitteur, a grocery, a wine-cellar with delicious wines, a café with terrace and a restaurant at the port. |
