Located in central Portugal, (Silver Coast), overlooking olive groves and vineyards and 3 km from the town of Batalha, Bed and Breakfast & Beauty Casa Ceedina is in a unique and key position in the region. Batalha is located in the cultural heart of central Portugal, close to the coast and about a one hour drive from Lisbon Airport and a two hour drive from Porto.
At Casa Ceedina we have a plenty of local knowledge and information about the area and the places to visit; there are also several hiking trails available. The Bed and Breakfast offers a good starting point for excursions in central Portugal because of its unique location, whether your preference is culture, hiking, nature, golf or the beach. Many activities are within half an hour’s drive.

Batalha is a charming and friendly town with several good restaurants and numerous cafes. You will also find some nice shops and terraces. A visit to the famous Dominican monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, included on the UNESCO World Heritage list, should not be missed. Every hour at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I you can witness the changing of the guard.
